The sound sources are recordings of percussion instruments and he has some information about the concept and the code he developed for this project.

How impressive!
We could make something like this too?
This example is the result of a long process involving design of hardware (camera, membrane) and software combining technical and artistic input. I think the sensor interface can offer a similar degree of control. But we need to to spend the time to explore it and develop it.
